kay, I’ll give them that... it is fun; but holy
hell the things your friends don’t prepare
Oyou for or you don’t learn until years after
playing. So, with the theme of New Beginnings,
I’ve decided to put together a list of things you
don’t expect, aren’t told and don’t learn till you’re
no longer a noob scrubbin’ it around Azeroth.
1: In-game events will haunt you if you are
any kind of collector or achievement whore.
Do them now, don’t wait until next year, or
the year after. Check out every possible fan site
for what the event ACTUALLY has to offer, so
you aren’t stuck wanting that one thing.
2: Decide what you want from the game.
Do you really want to PvP or are you just a collector?
Is raiding your real passion? This game has so damn
much to do in it, that unless you are a millionaire and
don’t have to work, you won’t be able to always do it
all. Decide and focus, so you don’t feel overwhelmed.

3: The tips on the loading screen and damn
near hilarious when you think about them.
Roads ARE NOT safe, but probably safer than the
grass unless you are in Ghostlands, or Spires of Arak,
or Eastern Plaguelands, or… okay they aren’t safe.
4: Having a million alts is fun, but it’s
really, really, time consuming.
Whether you did it to learn all the classes, or
for professions, or for any reason really, alt’s are
great! Leveling them every expansion, and their
professions and whatever else that expansion
has for each character will take more time out
of your life in Azeroth than you would think.
5: Being nice to others is worth it for your
moral integrity, but you will find a lot more
players with a few screws loose this way.
I troll on my own server, because it’s a small server and
no one goes unnoticed for long. Outside of my server I’m
the nice Priest, I offer advice, I compliment jobs well done
and I encourage cohesion and working together. Let me
